Green on the Screen: June 2022

On Sunday, 26 June 2022, Green United participants celebrated the premiere of a new series of short films created to raise awareness of urgent environmental issues and to inspire us all to “change the way we do things.”

Made in collaboration with The Depot, the films showcase the creativity, passion and determination of local young people who want to see meaningful environmental action in their community and beyond.

Following the premiere, the films are being screened before feature presentations throughout The Depot Festival this week — giving audiences the opportunity to engage with youth-led perspectives on sustainability every time they visit the cinema.
